First Look: The Royal Arrive for Jubilee Service of Thanksgiving

A large gathering of royals are attending a Service of Thanksgiving at St Paul's Cathedral this morning. Below, a live stream from the Royal Family Channel.

And Sky News live.

The Duke and Duchess arriving. Kate's wearing Emilia Wickstead and a Philip Treacy hat.

  1. Charlotte, I was watching SkyNews Live Coverage of the Royals arriving & the coverage was wonderful. I was waiting for them to switch to covering inside, but it never happened! I spent the bulk of my time frantically trying to see how I could watch the service live from here in the States!?

Then my husband woke & effortlessly pulled up the BBC Live Coverage via his VPN on his laptop! :0!!! I was just in time to watch them singing the final hymn & see them exit! :(

Hopefully there will be a link that will enable those of us outside the UK to see a replay or highlights!? Here's hoping! (& I'm kicking myself that I didn't think of this possible scenario sooner & make plans! Big Eyeroll!!)

Here's to a lovely Platinum Jubilee Day #2 & hoping that Her Majesty is well & enjoyed seeing her family & all those who love her honoring & giving Thanksgiving for her & her reign! xoxo:)

  3. I absolutely adore the design and color of this dress. The Duchess of Cambridge looks like perfection wearing it! It captures the appropriate tone of the occasion, and the crossover detail at the front gives just the right amount of interest and style. Her headwear is just as striking. Full marks for this outfit!

  7. Thanks Charlotte for another great post. I was sad the Queen couldn't be there but im glad she is getting her much needed and deserved rest.Kate looked lovely in yellow and Meghan looked gorgeous in white. I was sad to see Harry and Meghan were not sitting beside Kate and Wills and Charles like Zara got to?

    1. The working royals were all together in one aisle and the non-working in the opposite aisle. Zara isn't a working royal so she was in the same aisle as Meghan and Harry, quite close to them.

    2. Ella as above - very late but of course I got the seating wrong. Zara WAS in the working aisle - sorry!
