The Cambridge Children Mark Mother's Day with Letters to Granny Diana & Cake for Kate

To celebrate Mother's Day, Kensington Palace shared letters from the Cambridge children to Granny Diana with a note focusing on the difficult times we are in. "This year Mother’s Day will be different once again. Many of us will be apart from our loved ones, but looking forward to a time in the not too distant future when we can give our mother a hug again. But for those experiencing bereavement, today may be particularly challenging. Each year on Mother’s Day, George, Charlotte and Louis make cards remembering their Granny, Diana, for William. Whatever your circumstances, we are thinking of you this Mother’s Day."

In his sweet letter Prince George wrote, "Dear Granny Diana, Happy Happy Mother's Day. I love you very much and think of you always. Sending lots of love from George."

Princess Charlotte wrote a touching message. "Dear Granny Diana, I am thinking of you on Mother's Day, I love you very much. Papa is missing you. Lots of love, Charlotte."

And a darling drawing from Prince Louis :)

Celebrating Carole Middleton, an unseen photo of the Duchess as a little girl with her mum was shared. You can really see the strong resemblance to Louis in this photo.

And a cake for Kate made by George, Charlotte and Louis.

A very Happy Mother's Day to all celebrating and thoughts to those for whom the day is a difficult one.
