It marks Kate's first public engagement of 2020. The Cambridges spent Christmas with the royal family and enjoyed the school holidays at Anmer Hall where they celebrated Kate's birthday with Michael and Carole Middleton and a host of friends. They returned to London last week ahead of George and Charlotte's return to Thomas's Battersea. The Court Circular recorded a meeting for Kate last week regarding her early years work - we will be hearing quite a bit more on the project soon.
In November Bradford was named the "most improved city" to live and work in the UK. The West Yorkshire city was credited with an impressive "work-life balance" in the study by PWC and think tank Demos which measured cities against criteria people think most important to quality of life in addition to opportunities. National businesses including Channel 4 have invested and brought jobs to the area in recent years. It is home the largest proportion of people of Pakistani ethnic origin (20.3%) in England. Following William and Kate's tour of Pakistan, highlighting the Pakistani community would have been one of the key reasons for today's visit.
A gorgeous posy for Kate upon arrival.
In honour of the royal visit, City Hall turned red, white and blue last night.
City Hall was in fact their first port of call today.
Inside the couple met with a group of young people from across the community to hear about life in Bradford.
More from the Mail:
''STEM is something we have been going around asking about a lot,' said William., 'getting girls into engineering. ' He asked: 'How did you find the journey getting into it. Easy? Difficult? What more can be done?'
Caitlund told them eloquently about the 'stigma' she sometimes felt the profession came with for women. There was, she said, a misnomer that women wouldn't be good with their hands and said there was an urgent need for more apprenticeships.
Kate also chatted to Rosena Nawaz about mental health issues and asked her: 'Do you think a lot of your friends are talking about mental health as topic of conversation? Is this something people your age are talking about? Is there a big conversation around anxiety and depression?''
According to a 2017 report, Bradford is home to an increasingly younger population with 30% aged 20 and under. They also had a chat with employers and businesses who are helping young people into employment.
As an enthusiastic crowd waited outside, a police officer decided it was time for a spot of 'Heads, Shoulders, Knees & Toes' to keep the children entertained :)

In Centenary Square, it was time to meet the public.
The Duchess was very impressed by the green and red uniforms on display from local schoolchildren.
Josh was particularly excited to meet the Duchess and got "a big hug".
William was seen communicating with a well-wisher using sign language. Yesterday the Prince made headlines during an investiture when he congratulated deaf interpreter Alex Duguid MBE in sign language.

Next, it was time for a previously unannounced engagement for the Duke and Duchess as they visited British Asian kitchen, My Lahore. The restaurant takes inspiration from Lahore which is considered the culinary capital of Pakistan. Kensington Palace said it "evoked memories" of the recent tour.
Kate had a great time making a Kulfi milkshake, while William made a Mango Lassi.
Milkshake in hand, Kate set about meeting guests. She always finds the little ones in the room :)
More from The Telegraph:
'The royal couple made mango and kulfi milkshakes in the kitchen, under the guidance of operations director Ishfaq Farooq. The duke and duchess chose ice cream to add to their drinks and mixed them using blenders.
William called his milkshake "delicious" as he took a sip, before asking staff about the origin of ingredients used.
Boxer Amir Khan, a friend of the family who own MyLahore, met the duke and duchess during their visit to the restaurant. He said he spoke to William about his boxing foundation and mental health in sport.'

Kate told well-wishers the trip to Pakistan was "such a special visit, we really enjoyed it".

William and Kate visited one of Bradford’s Khidmat Centres, whose main focus is to help the most vulnerable members of the community from minority ethnic backgrounds.
They heard about the activities and workshops offered at the centre, and the organisations that they support.
They were wowed by an outstanding 'William and Kate' cake made by the incredibly talented Siama Ali. The creation depicted events in their lives. Emily Andrews reports when William saw his baby photo he thought it was "our little Lottie".
Danielle Stacey shared a closer look.
From there, the couple joined a session involving groups supported by Better Start Bradford, which delivers over 20 projects to pregnant women and families with children under the age of 4.
What did I tell you about Kate finding the little ones? :)
Speaking of children, Kate was asked if she and William have any plans to add to their family. More from The Mirror:
William and Kate met families from the ‘Older Yet Wiser’ project, a unique and innovative workshop series for grandparents who have child-caring responsibilities for their grandchildren. Participants in the workshop are given tools to enhance their relationship with their grandchildren whilst receiving up-to-date information on raising children in the 21st century.
Kate joked about trying her hand at knitting a very special jumper for George. The video also has a clip of Kate doing a little dancing with her new friend.
Kensington Palace added: "The Duchess’s longstanding work on the early years has highlighted the importance of supporting children and families during this seminal period of their lives, and the importance of all members of society in raising children."
Their final event was a workshop run by Near Neighbours, an organisation which brings people together in communities across the UK that are religiously and ethnically diverse.

Speaking of children, Kate was asked if she and William have any plans to add to their family. More from The Mirror:
'During a chat with Josh Macpalce, who told her he had sent her and William cards congratulating them on the births of all three of their children, she replied: “I don’t think William wants any more.”

The Duchess wrapped up in a new green military style coat by Alexander McQueen.
Underneath, Kate sported a ZARA Printed Dress. The piece is described as: "Flowing long sleeve dress featuring a high neck with ties and a V-shaped opening, an elastic inner waist, a detachable belt in matching fabric with a covered buckle, and front button fastening." It's currently on sale for just £16.
Kate carried her black croc Aspinal of London Midi Mayfair bag.
And in a sartorial nod to the recent tour of Pakistan and today's events, Kate brought back her earrings by Pakistani brand Zeen.
The Duchess completed the look with her Gianvito Rossi Piper block heel shoes.
It was fantastic to see such a lovely atmosphere in Bradford and to learn more about the wonderful organisations and projects in the area. On Monday, William and Kate will host a reception on behalf of the Queen to mark the UK - Africa summit.
Comment Note: For the sake of keeping the comments section on topic, civil and manageable, please keep the conversation on the Cambridges and not the recent news regarding the Sussexes. Thank you very much for your understanding on this.
Lovely Kate!Thank you for being who you are!
ReplyDeleteI guess you are Greek,I am Greek too, and I absolutely agree with your comment! Thanks we have her!!
Deletebussiness workmode for the cambridges i love the coat and dress be back as the day progressea
ReplyDeleteI am seriously in love with the dress. 16 £ ? Ah-ma-zing! I love when they dress affordably!
ReplyDeleteOn that note, I don't care the coat, but at least it is a length she doesn't have yet, so she might put it in a good use in future as well.
Ella
It is affordable, but I try to avoid 100% polyester dresses. An it is similar to the next one, she regularly buys. No, no!
DeleteI think this is the worst coat she has ever worn.
I suppose the main topic of the day apart from her clothes will be milkshakes.
All is well!
She looks great and I could id that coat as McQueen from miles away. Hope they have a good day.
ReplyDeleteCatherine is always the most beatiful always. William has to be very proud of his wife.
ReplyDeleteYes she is.
Delete+1
DeleteDefinitely- we are so lucky to have her ❤️❤️
DeleteThank you for always posting so quickly! Can’t wait to read about their full day. Sounds like Bradford is very excited to have them there!
ReplyDeleteReally like the olive coat. It suits her long lean figure. I only wish I could pull that coat off! But I really like the coat.
ReplyDeleteNot so fond of the dress. I like the plaid pattern but not the pussy bow. The pussy bow in general is a fashion trend I wish would go away ASAP.
I concur with you Ivy Lin about the pussy bow. It seems more like the sort of thing the Queen would wear not the youthful Kate. She looks lovely though in anything she wears even if it's not my preference.
DeleteI agree. Pussy bows look so prim and fussy, and there's enough going on with the plaid of the dress that I don't think the bow adds anything to the look.
DeleteWhy do they call it a pussy bow? Can anyone explain, not being snarky I've just always wanted to know why that term for a bow.
DeleteKate is awesome. Classy lady for sure.
DeleteLynne, I guess it is because it is the kind of bows you see little cats wearing at least in children books
DeleteNatacha is right. "A lavallière, also called a pussycat bow, is a style of neckwear often associated with women's and girls' blouses and bodices. It takes the form of a bow tied at the neck similar to those tied around the necks of kittens and cats." It was worn in 19th century France but took hold in the 1930's and 40's when a pattern maker used it to convert a neckline. Fashion designers Coco Chanel and Yves St. Laurent made it popular in the 1960' when the look became a part of everyday wear when women would wear it with suits, "a mix of feminine and masculine" power dressing. It is associated with strength and power in women, taking a man's shirt and making more feminine, a look where "they can hold their head up high". Interestingly, Margaret Thatcher wore the style in the 1980's and I doubt any would question her strength. The pussy bow look was meant to celebrate feminity in a man's world.
DeleteTrès joli!!
ReplyDeleteLove the coat, it is her colour. A lot of impactful engagements today. I will keep to the Cambridges but the press is harassing them these days and their every word every expression is scrutinized. It must be difficult to be natural in those circumstances. I am impressed how well they manage to keep focused on the people they meet.
ReplyDeleteThe press is, and will be relentless, but Kate is the epitome of 'grace under fire'. My admiration for how she maintains her dignity continues to grow. cc
DeleteI love her total look she is a beautiful lady with a lovely family.
ReplyDeleteThe coat to the neck isn't my favorite, but I love that color on her. And I am wearing this Zara dress today!!!! I feel so Duchessy!
ReplyDeleteWow! 😃 How did you manage that??😉 I bet you're going to wear it many more times in the future!
DeleteThat is amazing, but it does like like a dress that would feel and look good to wear. :)
DeleteI don't know, I'm not really impressed by the dress or coat. I looks kind of boring, nothing special. The coat color suits her but for me it's a miss this time.
ReplyDeleteIt's nice to see Kate back at work. And in a budget friendly dress, to boot. She looks lovely.
ReplyDeleteWonderful photos of them doing their walkabout, talking to people, Kate hugging someone.
ReplyDeleteI am not really into fashion but I love brooches and I think a brooch would have brightened the coat up a lot. When I first saw her she looked very sombre in that coat although I think it is very elegant. Remember how people used to criticize her for never taking off her coat? Glad to see that that is a habit she seems to have got out of :) I do love the glen plaid dress and the bow is what I expect from her. It suits her. I wear scarves almost constantly myself.
Love these engagements when they both are together. Their interactions are so cute with each other.
ReplyDeleteI like the coat, like the length. one of my first thoughts was this would be great for st. patricks day! those are some of my favorite shoes of hers. have to agree with ivy lin, not a big fan of the pussy bow but she pulls it off better than most. like the pattern of the dress but the bow is too much for me. cant wait for more. thanks charlotte, brilliant as always!
ReplyDeletelove the full post! what a wonderful day. they are so sincerely happy and it shows. love how she is drawn to children. That cake is spectacular, though maybe a little disconcerting to have your face from all stages of life all over it?! love this clutch and love when William wears anything other than Windsor Blue:) Really want to get there someday as my ancestors were from that region, Snaith specifically. would love to cross over for trooping or another event although id be good just getting there! Hope everyone is having a good week. Thanks again charlotte!
DeleteHope you can get there one day, Caroline! 🙂 Now you have one more reason to go - walking in the Cambridges' footsteps!
DeleteReally love this look for a cold winters day. This coat would be lovely for her St. Patrick's Day work. Love that she wears high street affordable Zara items.
ReplyDeleteI love when Kate wears something I can order myself! She does look tired but no judgement. I was personally hoping she’d wear a bright court and lipstick to give herself a lift. This is Kate’s pallet though and I always love her green coats, especially a McQueen.
ReplyDeleteYay!!!! She looks lovely!!! Very well poised and the smiles remain though difficult it must be for them all. She looks beautiful!!!! I mean really, does she ever put a foot wrong here?! I think not ❣️
ReplyDeleteWhile Kate is on trend with the pussy bow dress it remains a true classic as well. Love the entire look of high/low fashion statement.
ReplyDeleteReally like the dress and am pleasantly surprised that it is so affordable. I do not like bows but it helps with Kate's very slender frame to add balance. A heavier person might do well to delete the bow. Very nice coat.
ReplyDeleteI was shopping at Zara last month and knew this was a very DoC dress!
ReplyDeleteI love when Catherine wears dark rich colors. It really suits her. I also like the length of the coat. It is a fun change of pace. I really appreciate how professional both she and William are behaving. It was fun to see the video of William signing during the investiture yesterday--very touching.
ReplyDeleteClassy Kate, as usual!
ReplyDeleteI love this length of coat on her - perfect for the cold! I’m quite liking the ZARA dress, also :) The architecture of Bradford City Hall is incredible 😍
ReplyDeleteI'm having a moment because William is wearing a color that is not blue.
ReplyDeleteHaha! Yes, I love the shade of his sweater :)
DeleteLove the olive green coat! I like the black heels with it too. Kate the Great. Love her so much!
ReplyDeleteTogether they are a beautiful team. A joy to watch them.
ReplyDelete+1 Tedi! cc
DeleteKate always looks so beautiful in green, especially the darker shades of green. I love this coat on her.
ReplyDeleteAs someone who works in the construction industry, I greatly appreciate Williams questions and comments related to STEM (although engineering careers cover a wide range of industries beyond construction engineering). Encouraging girls/women to venture into the trades sector and engineering/scientific communities is so important and I am glad it was included as part of their day in Bradford.
ReplyDeleteAnd, I am very impressed that William has taken the time to learn British Sign Language. When most people think of learning another language, the tendency is to think of a verbal language, not something with BSL (or ASL in the United States). A friend of mine is a deaf interpreter (here in the States) and she receives many calls to help interpret for the deaf in a lot of varying circumstances (she also attends a lot of concerts and plays because members of the deaf community are purchasing tickets and have requested an interpreter).
Border Terrier lover :-)
Thank god media is starting to report what William does because he is terrible underrated. I’ve seen a couple of videos greeting the crowd today and people were so happy to see him and even laughed with his jokes. I do not understand why he’s wearing a tie under a round neck sweater though lol
Delete@ Anonymous 19:54: this is considered to be casual but with style. In Middle Europe you can see it as well, and I like it very much.
DeleteI can get the tie if the sweater was v-neck and you could actually see a part of it but with a round neck you can only see a part of the knot if you look closely. Anyway it’s good to discuss a man fashion for once lol
DeleteShe looks lovely. I like the dress with the wide belt, would like the bow a bit more relaxed. The coat is nice but not my favorite of hers. Dislike the earrings. Love the purse. She and William looked to have a great outing.
ReplyDeleteThis post brightened my day! Thank you for posting so quickly :)
ReplyDeleteWhat good work they will be doing in the UK this year with their chosen causes. Things that matter to ordinary people.
ReplyDeleteI dislike the chest flaps on women's coats, and this is no exception. Unnecessary and awkward. Kate is going for tightly buttoned up of late, but it makes for a simple, workday look as befits her growing importance to the monarchy. Dull coat, nice color and she gives it a life with the patterned and very pretty earrings. Pussy bows, ugh, but she likes those conservative dresses for day events. A style that suits her job.
She looks beautiful! I love her outfit. Maybe she is wearing the coat on St. Patricks Day in March?
ReplyDeleteGreat suggestion! I hope so!
DeleteElla
How elegant they are
ReplyDeleteWhat a great tie in from their tour. The tailoring on this coat is beautiful. She has so many green coats, but it is a great color for her. I love that the dress is so affordable, but still professional. I don't know how I feel about the bow, but she is certainly dressed appropriately. Love William wearing the red sweater. They really work well as a team. Glad to see them out.
ReplyDeleteHope from USA
Wow Kate looks amazing Live her coat and dress just perfect Will & Kate are so natural together and Kate ad always so classy & regal. The future is in safe hands with these 2. They come across as genuine and interested in everyone they talk to xx
ReplyDeleteGreat engagement. I think it’s wonderful that they picked Bradford. That sends a strong message.
ReplyDeleteIt’s also nice that they actively made links to their recent tour.
While I really like the colour of her coat and the patten of the dress, I don’t like today’s look. She has definitely better versions of a military coat (why is she so fond of them nowadays?) and the dress is way too much Little Ms Prairie for my liking. It could give a cool vintage vibe but therefore it needed different accessories and a different cost. I am also not a fan of the earrings and the bag. I do absolutely love the shoes though.
C.
I don't know if I am alone in this, but I think Kate looks better at this age than she ever did in her 20's. I do wish she would lop about 3 inches from her hair, but she is just a gorgeous woman!
ReplyDeleteI agree with you 100%, Rita! There is maturity and experience mixed with her beauty now, plus something I can't quite put my finger on, perhaps more elegance/class/grace? She's really amazing!
DeleteI agree!
DeleteI think it is confidence. She has grown into her role.
Delete- I think Kate did some fashion diplomacy today. Since majority of the people in Bradford are from Pakistan, she wore her Zeen earings which is by a Pakistan designer and she first wore them during the Pakistan Tour last October. She wore a green McQueen coat since one of the colors on Pakistan's flag is green. She also wore a $15 Zara dress so that the focus can stay on the community and their projects.
ReplyDelete- William and Kate did a fantastic job on this visit today. I'm so looking forward when they host the Africa Summit Reception at Buckingham Palace next Monday!
The Duchess looked lovely on this visit. The coat is superb, beautiful fit, colour is sublime, suits her perfectly. The dress with pussy bow, stunning on her, great length and fit. Love the choice of shoes and handbag. A very elegant look. Considering the circumstances the Duchess is handling things with much dignity and class as is the Duke.
ReplyDeleteI agree The Duchess look lovely, the coat color was a culture nod with the earrings to match. I have notice the most recent McQueen coats with the high military look shows the fasteners in silver, for a high end fashion house either needed to place them a little more in or a darker color like black that it would be less noticeable. They did get the length of the coat right, so the long dress did not show, that is proper. I think the whole outfit would have been perfect if that beautiful handbag was in suede combo, otherwise I still like the whole look very professional. 💚
DeleteWhat a lovely touch for Kate to coordinate her coat colour with the green of the Pakistani flag. Whoever organises her wardrobe choices is very savvy about occasions and it looks great on her too.
ReplyDeleteI wasn’t wowed by today’s look, but then I did not expect to be wowed on an away-day. Kate tend to go for understated looks on away-days which make it less of a photoshoot and put more focus on the people they meet.
ReplyDeleteI was however impressed that she rewore her earrings from the Pakistan tour. I don’t think she has ever worn her diplomatic touches from tours back in UK. Kate often gets blamed that she ventures too far into costume territory on tour, but wearing them again makes it part of her look and not just a cultural nod.
I've noticed that Kate seems to go for upper body detailing on her clothing, with a straightline lower half. I think because she's so slender, and has such a lean upper body, she wants to balance with some attention around the decollatage, even on her coats.
ReplyDeleteThe pussy bow is ideal for that, as is the breastpocket detailing on her coat(s).
I JUST looked at the menu for My Lahore! Too bad they are so far from me - it look tasty as well as spicey.
ReplyDeleteLOVE the coat, but not the color for Kate so much.
What a nice engagement to start off the year and a great tie into their Pakistan tour!! There's quite a bit to like about today's visit, but particularly love the last video clip, it seems to highlight the enthusiasm and participation by the community, as well as Will and Kate; always love to see their interaction with each other on these joint events. What an amazing cake and how cute that William thought his baby picture looked like Charlotte!! On a fashion note, love both the coat and the dress. The length, the color, and the styling of this coat are beautiful (hope to perhaps see the coat again at St. Patrick's Day??) and it looks good on Kate. LOVE the black and white plaid dress, bow and all!! It's Kate's signature 'work look' where she takes separates and pulls them together in her classic style. Very much looking forward to what this year will bring for the Cambridges and to see Kate's further development of her 'early years' initiatives. cc
ReplyDeleteI loved his "little Lottie" reference too, CeCe! 😄
DeleteThank you so much, Charlotte! This was a treat. I loved all the videos and I think there was more focus on William today than usual. Watching them making milkshakes made me want to make one too 😋. I love the idea of supporting grandparents who take care of their grandchildren. W+K are always so natural, so kind and engaged.
ReplyDeleteAs for the fashion, I really like Kate's dress and I'm very excited - it seems I might be able to buy it here in Prague - it would be the first time I could buy something Kate wears!!
That's exciting Zora, that would be a great dress to have in your closet! cc
DeleteI've GOT it!!! 😀😁😃 I can't believe it!😇 Thank you Charlotte - I would never have it without this blog!! 😍
DeleteOMG Zora, hooray for you!!! LOVE the dress, you'll look smashing everytime you wear it!! cc
DeleteCongratulations Zora!
DeleteThank you, CeCe and Natacha! ❤️
DeleteCharlotte, I hope you don't mind this being slightly off topic- but do you know of any bloggers detailing what William wears? I've found myself more often wondering where I can purchase what he wears for my husband! My apologies if this has been asked and answered previously! Thank you!
ReplyDeleteThanks for asking. I agree!!!
DeleteC.
Thanks so much for this lovely post! I enjoyed the additional focus on William and his part in the visit to Bradford. As usual, Kate looks fabulous - she has such wonderful taste - traditional, with a twist. so refreshing to see them doing this part of their job as it always looks like they are really interested and having a good time. Looks like the weather cooperated as well!
ReplyDeletethanks Charlotte for the nice post glad to see them out looking happy. i like kate's coat.
ReplyDeleteA whole day of lovely engagements to start the year - I enjoyed all the snippets of William and Kate engaging so supportively with people. And Kate with children... always such a joy to watch.
ReplyDeleteSuch a beautiful couple and a true asset to the Royal family. They have always taken on their job and responsibilities with grace, class, and dignity. William should be incredibly proud of Catherine. She was born for this job. He made a wonderful choice in his life partner and mate. Kate’s outer beauty is obvious, but her inner beauty and compassion towards all is beautiful to see. It’s great to see them out together in Bradford. It looks to been a wonderful day and visit!
ReplyDeleteI agree she carries her responsibilities with grace and dignity. I know you don't mean it literally, but I think however that she wasn't born for this job, I think she works hard to get it right. She of course has the humility and commitment needed, and in that sense has the right personality but does it come from birth, education, willpower?
DeleteKate and Natcha, We're rather used to Kate by now, but I think her best qualities come from not having been "royal." And I don't mean to disparage "blood" members of the RF, but Kate and her family of course had no thoughts of a royal life until Kate met William. Kate's early days were not spent with wealth, and she went through bullying. Her family did become wealthy but they still had to face a lot of snobbery. I think she made the job better.
DeleteHi just wanted to say that did anyone notice that they were sitting in the same room that Jane Eyre was filmed in? The 2006 version. They even sat in the same furniture.... how exciting!!
ReplyDeleteThe room where they're sitting in the armchairs, Anon? Wow!!!
DeleteNow I'll have to watch it once again. I love that version - one of the best, IMO.
How on earth did you recognise it???????😃
I actually just watched it for the 100th time. The pink sofas when Rochester is first quizzing Jane after she returns from her walk.... he asks her to sit down and it’s the same room!!! Same sofas!! This is indigoisle but for some reason my account won’t post if I try to login....
DeleteI think I was mistaken about the furniture, it looks like the same room but wrong furniture, I was getting it confused with the 1996 version furniture.... sorry for the confusion
DeleteThank you indigoisle and congratulations on your sharp eyes! It's great to know there are fellow Jane Eyre admirer(s) here! 💐
DeleteLove the bow on her dress, it is feminine and girly.... I like the way she doesn’t try to look sexy when meeting with the public.... she is dressing spot on, she prefers a 1940’s look and I love it class all the way...
ReplyDeleteAgree with many of the comments - adore the coat. This color is gorgeous on the DoC! She’s lovely and so poised. Love William’s look today as well!
ReplyDeleteKate in KY
You have to admire the Duke & Duchess of Cambridge; business and fun, they make it look easy. Thanks, Charlotte. I enjoyed the historical aspect of your post.
ReplyDeleteKate is such a joy to watch! I want to be like her if I decide to become an adult.
ReplyDeleteWonderful engagement! I’m not sold on the coat, but the dress is pretty on Kate. Kate must be an expert at finding items at Zara. I go to Zara, I find nothing, ever. Only rack after rack of messy, cheap looking clothes. What’s the secret to finding classy items there, any ideas?
ReplyDeleteHa Ha!! I have had the same experience the few times I've been into Zara. Like finding a needle in a haystack. Maybe we should send our personal assistants. ;)
DeleteHaha yes Nicole! We will go for afternoon tea whilst the personal assistants sort trough Zara!
DeleteI have found that different Zara stores have different items and some can be more elegant. If you've got various Zara stores in your city, maybe try another or otherwise, look at their whole collection online.
DeleteGo in the morning and in a weekday, avoid Saturday and Sunday afternoon. It’s like penny’s -a zoo
DeleteThank God for Kate and Will!
ReplyDeleteGreat day away highlighting the city, its diverse population and some excellent endeavours. How impressive is the cake!! Good uniform today. Coat excellent colour and good cut for Catherine and really liked the reuse of the earings from Pakistan
ReplyDeleteWhat a wonderful memory will be that picture with Catherine for the little girl! 😍💕
ReplyDeleteThank you Charlotte for your great work.
Silvia
Love the work they are doing; all positive. I love also that Kate starting last year has worn dresses/skirts that cover the knees (and with coats even longer). So much more attractive for women in a professional role and even more so for folks being photographed constantly when in public. Thank you, Charlotte for all you do in your work to provide us accurate, timely information.
ReplyDeleteI love her in shorter and longer lengths. They both look great and professional.
DeleteIt seems like it was a lovely away day. They both looked happy and professional, and as always they seemed to make everyone they met feel valued and important. In my opinion, that is a job well done!
ReplyDelete— MSDC
I don't like the front pockets on the coat, it looks odd ! and I think it would on anyone.
ReplyDeleteThe dress is gorgeous on her, so feminine.
Both of them were so happy, it is refreshing for the spirit to see them like that.
Lovely working couple!Congratulations to them for their great engagement.
ReplyDeleteAnother Beautiful outfit from Kate, she was great as always with the crowds from some of the videos going around. I say she will wear this coat on St Patrick’s Day
ReplyDeleteHmm i love duke cambridge talking about dealing and solving problems i love the coat and the dress to
ReplyDeleteI love the expressions Catherine has when interacting with children, so sweet and gentle. Its obvious that she adores them. What a down to earth and sincerely lovely person she is.
ReplyDeleteI just notice in some more pictures of The Duchess, she definitely had her hair colored with dark/ low lights and some chestnut/red highlights, plus at tithe end of this treatment they put a clear glaze that makes her hair even more shiny. No body noice, I know her outfits were spectacular, her hair is even more beautiful.❤️
ReplyDeleteLove Kate and William in these days even more...
ReplyDeleteDitto Anja!
DeleteI second that! Dutiful and humble.
ReplyDeleteOh, oh! The Irish Post is reporting that W & K are planning a two-day trip to Ireland in March. Am saying my prayers to Saint Patrick that they will be coming in mid March because that's when I will be in Cork for a week. I would dearly love to see them in person!!
ReplyDeleteSo thankful William and Kate are a solid team. Just thinking ahead 15 years -- Charles will be mid-late 80s, W & K will be 50s and Sophie & Edward 70s. W & K's generation has no other working royals; George and Charlotte will assume a great deal of responsibility at young ages. Just hoping Kate is able to maintain a balance of purposeful patronages (versus volume) AND focus on raising her children. From a distance, the streamlined purposeful patronages make a great deal of sense.
