The Duchess Wears Floral Tory Burch Gown for Dinner with the King and Queen

The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge returned to the Taj Tashi hotel for a quick change before leaving for dinner.

It's been an incredible first day in Bhutan for William and Kate. From their very warm welcome at Paro Airport, to meeting the King and Queen and enjoying an afternoon of archery and traditonal games, it's been another memorable day.

William and Kate were photographed leaving for the Palace. One onlooker noted: "Kate currently putting the finishing touches to her outfit before leaving." The Duke and Duchess travelled to where they dined with King Jigme and Queen Jetsun at Lingkana Palace.

Lingkana Palace is a residence of the King and Queen. The couple's son was born at the Palace in February. One doesn't have to be a special visitor to visit the Palace, as King Jigme invests quite a lot of his time inviting locals, members of the media and different groups to talk with him over tea. In 2011, more than 20,000 people were invited to the Palace.

Kensington Palace shared a photo of the Dzong lit up overlooking the Palace where the royals had dinner.

Bhutan has proven itself to be an enormously warm and welcoming country across the board. The King sent treats to journalists who are covering the tour - a very thoughtful gesture.

For Kate's fourth outfit of the day, she chose the Tory Burch Floral Mesh Gown. It is the second time the Duchess has worn the American designer today. The colourful gown is intricately embroidered with retro-inspired floral shades of sky-blue, orange, green and brown. The neckline is adorned with red-bead embellishments. The $1,495 dress is available in limited sizing at Net-A-Porter, Tory Burch and FarFetch.

More from the product description:
'Like a work of wearable art, our Floral Mesh Gown turns a classic column shape into a tapestry of colorful blooms and sculptural beading. This vintage-inspired design from our fashion show is embroidered with lustrous jewel-toned flowers, worked into graphic horizontal stripes. The pattern creates beautiful highs and lows in the fabric, lending a multi-dimensional quality to the look. A split neckline — embellished with tiny flame-shaped charms — sheer sleeves and high side slits give this brilliant dress a statement finish.'

The intricate beading and embroidery is quite striking.

Other pieces with the same print from the designer include the Embellished Embroidered Tulle Tunic and the knee length Floral Mesh Dress.

Tory Burch

Coincidentally, actress Drew Barrymore wore the Tory Burch Floral Mesh Gown at the ASPCA 19th annual Bergh Ball in New York tonight.

Kate teamed the dress with an orange pashmina. Kate wore the £275 Basket Weave Pashmina by Pickett London (with thanks to Middleton Maven). The hand-woven silk and cashmere stole was hand-made in Nepal. It is a lovely addition to the look and the vibrant hue adds a nice pop of colour.

Kate teamed the dress with her Gianvito Rossi Crisscross Ankle-Wrap Sandals.

The Duchess is wearing the same gold earrings from this morning. A reader named Jayne kindly got in touch to let us know the earrings are Scottish brand Brora. The £39 Gold Charm Earrings are 22k gold plated brass with gold plated sterling silver hooks. Both Kate and Pippa have been fans of the brand for years.

In other news, there was a very sad development at Kaziranga National Park. Last night, poachers slaughtered a rhino just hours after the couple's visit. Kensington Palace released the following statement:
'The Duke and Duchess were angry to hear about the killing of this rhino during their visit. They hope their time in Kaziranga encourages others to support the brave rangers that are protecting animals that are so important to the communities that surround the national park.'

Today's posts:

  • Kate repeated two looks this morning at Guwahati and Paro airport. The post can be viewed here.
  • It was a splendid afternoon as the couple took part in a procession, met The King and Queen and participated in local games such as archery. The post is here.
Tomorrow's events:
  • The Duke and Duchess will undertake a six-hour hike to Paro Taktsang.
  • Back in Thimphu that evening, the Duke and Duchess will attend a reception for British nationals in Bhutan and Bhutanese people with strong links to the UK.

See you tomorrow morning :)

Yes, indeed. Proverbial wisdom states you gain more favour with honey than vinegar. That's wisdom on behalf of the king. Hopefully W & K take a cue.

I wonder... are William and Kate allowed to send gifts like that to the journalists? Or would it be seen as bribing? (Not excusing them, I am genuinely wondering. Because I know the royals are (or rather, have to be) rather strict with stuff like that)

    3. Emily, it is a small reward from the king for them braving the flight. lol

    4. I do think it would make a difference if they would interact with the journalists/photographers more. At least stop pretending they're not there. Look at what a great photo it is when Kate is waving and smiling right at the camera. C&C do this well and I've read articles that were far more engaging because of it.

Oh, I agree Musing! I hope they change their "policy". And I do think it's a little odd that they have different policies on tour and at home. We saw a selfie with someone from this trip, but at home they say they can't do them. Here they stand and pose, they wave etc. But not at home. I wonder why.

      Delete
    6. I would love to brave that flight!! Yes I think the press would get suspicious if W&K would all of sudden giving them gifts. They could look towards the camera more and wave to them when they are out. That my keep the press somewhat happy.

    7. Since it is more remote perhaps security is less and they do all of that more safely in Bhutan. The government there seems to have an unusual leverage with the population.

      Delete
    8. Bhutan is wonderful! What a day. I do think it'll be very strange if W & K suddenly gave presents to journalists. Remember they have to act according to precedent. If the Queen doesn't do it, you can't expect them to. Same can be said with selfies and posing (which is an exception rather than the norm).

      Delete
    9. Maggie - Minneapolis14 April 2016 at 19:02

If they have to act according to precedent then their lives would be very different in a way I suspect they would not like.

      Delete
    10. I don't think anyone's looking for gifts, I think they'd love just to be acknowledged! I've said this for some time so sorry for my broken record :) but it's simple courtesy to look at a press pack who have followed you to India, who are providing coverage for your work, and say "good morning" "how was your trip" "how are you settling in" "glad you all could make it" ... anything like that!

They're all in the same boat in a way, far from home, their families, following the same hectic schedule. It's baffling.

I read once that William intends to follow the Queen's approach but that's quite foolish. The Queen is literally a once in a lifetime phenomenon, she was raised in a very different time. I have tremendous respect for her but her approach is not for this time, and no one but the Queen could get away with it. Charles doesn't behave like that as Prince of Wales and won't as King.

Love the press or hate them, you still have to work with them. Ideally they would give a few words, very brief "interview" (literally a few minutes) at the end of a tour like this, but I won't hold my breath :)

      Delete
    11. They certainly need to change their policy toward the media and the press, but that can only come from changing their (William's) attitude.
And I don't know about the selfies, Kate has posed for selfies before with people during walkabouts in the UK, or at she did a few years ago, there's footage of it on YouTube.
We can hope that Will and Kate keep up this busy schedule and their interest for the public and doing engagements once they get home but, unfortunately, I wouldn't hold my breath. It's truly a pity because they are so good at it.

  9. Your so fast! Amazing truely. Best look of the tour for the dress but as well PW's outfit and both got a tan and look relaxed and so happy. Probably as they now they will see there kids so but I am sure as well as they enjoyed dearly the experience the lived through together in the last days and as a stone is falling from their hearts the tour went smooth and up to expactations set in them. Such a cute couple they make! Wonderful, promising and hope they will have enough time for themselves and their family until the get full-time royals. And those compaining about work-shy "just shut up"! They have as every one the right to live their lives and it is already complicated enough as heir to a throne. YOu cannot even do what you want. Nor could Kate as the heirs "girl friend" when paparazzi blocking your car, looking into your window and under your skirt! They have survived and found their pace which I clearly find encouraging and all under the umbrella of a deep deep friendship and love.

You know, people complain a lot on the blog about others making complaints about the Cambridges' work ethic, or lack thereof, but I've noticed that those complaining about the complaining are the ones who bring up the work debate constantly...not the ones who think William and Kate don't do enough.

    3. What is your favorite look on Kate for this tour Maggie?

      Delete
    4. Yes Anon 16:51 I agree with your points. I look at all the chaos that I watched during the 80's-90's & sometimes I think people sadly get bored if their is no Scandal du jour. I mean how exciting can it be to watch them have a calm happy healthy marriage & raise lovely well balanced kids? Boring right? Surely no one wants neg excitement & without that, there is just the 2 of them pacing themselves as they make use of what will be the 2nd most quiet time of their lives together! (the first being when they lived @ University & then @ Anglesey. Point blank, being happy healthy & living a quiet family life just doesn't sell newspapers..... I do think that if they could be more light hearted about the press & pose & wave a bit more that would be nice too:) We don't know how they interact with the Press during this Tour, but I do hope they have been friendly & interactive? I think with some give & take & William loosening his collar about the press, that a new era with the press can evolve:)

  10. I've seen this dress in person and I didn't really care for it in the store. It was so busy. In this setting on Kate though, I kind of like it...maybe. I definitely like it more with the addition of the orange pashmina. Overall, I think this is the kind of fabric that is better as one piece - skirt or blouse - with a solid color complement. I love the gold earrings and they look great on her! I have a similar pair that get a lot of use.

I wish some of this flair would carry over to her fashion in the UK. I think it suits her better and just makes her appearances more cheerful. Sadly, I'm sure it will be back to the same old uniform of staid pieces.

    1. with you ,entirely, Musing. Tory Burch can do some very OTT pieces- at times not always that well made- and at times verging on costume-y..or at the very least: she'll design something perfect for a very specific occasion. And in that aspect- this dress found it's perfect home.
And , yes, I'm defintely afraid , when she gets home, it's going to be the same old uniform. Shame that someone so young, attractive and charming has got to feel that she's " hit her stride" with staid looks. Really a shame. I'd love to try to pin-point the age and stage when the Queen did that. WHen she was young, she dressed the part. My guess it was somewhere before the birth of her 4th child- but I can't recall.

    2. Len 16:55- Can you see Kate wearing this standing next to HM? At which RF event?
      Would Camilla wear it?
Some people complain Kate doesn't put her best foot forward at home. Maybe she's
showing her true colors now .lol
She might rather be wearing these styles, if there were no constraints.
      We're talking the BRF here.
And, as William and Harry both say, HM is "the Boss." And she wears bright-colored solids, but rarely
patterns. At least not like Kate has been wearing.

Kate's in-laws are a bit touchy on the subject of fashion and standing out. :) Her focus isn't on fashion...it's on dressing appropriately.

At first I wasn't sure if I liked this dress on her but it's growing on me. Very chic. And great to see the earrings again :) Right within my wheelhouse. It has been so fun to see her experiment with her style this week. I hope she developes more of a taste for patterns and colour so it might seep over a bit to her regular style :)

Also, William look GREAT! So much better without the buttoned up shirt and tie (which I understand he must wear so it's not a comment on his style). And I like that his jacket and pants seem to be of different materials :) Very nice! They sure are a handsome couple. I hope they will build a nice relationship with the King and Queen. How amazing wouldn't it be if they became friends?! :D

    3. In British English one says 'print' for a print and 'pattern' for a pattern.

      Delete
    4. A print is colors printed on, these flowers are embroidered. Clear difference in American English.

      Delete
    5. I, as an American, use the words interchangeable I would call it a print because it is not a solid color. When you say pattern to me it may or may not depending on context of the conversation. My first thought for pattern is sewing.

      Delete
    6. Prints are patterns, but patterns are not all prints. Fabric patterns can be woven, as in the kyra cloth, or knitted, or crocheted, or cut, or appliqued, and so on. Rug patterns can be knotted, woven, hooked, painted, etc. There are many ways to achieve patterns, but printing is just printing. A good illustration for logic class!

  20. What a beautiful dress! I especially love that it is a complete departure from her usual A line skirt with prim or overly sweet details. This is a grown woman's dress, and the effect is chic and sophisticated. I hope she wears more in this vein in the future. This morning, I wasn't sure if these earrings were costume or not. Since she is wearing them tonight, the must be gold and I think they are breathtaking. She wears a larger earring well and I hope she will continue to do so when she returns
    home.

My only complaint is that I wish she wore nail polish on her toes. I know she probably doesn't want to draw attention to her toes but if you are all dressed up, naked toes look unpolished. For me, its like forgetting to wear lipstick or earrings. It doesn't even need to be a color.

Indeed. She has warm colouring. Look at her eyes. That is how you determine if you are warm or cool colouring. Eyes don't lie. This is why the red dressed on her this tour made her look so vibrant. And actually the pink dress she wore at the park, one notices the pink dress, before one notices her face. The right colour always draws you to the face first--the way it should. Looks at the photos of her, and you'll see.

My comments will cover all these events and be all over the place.
Flight - glad I wasn't on it - although I have had friends visit Bhutan - they say the flights are always difficult, but it's well worth it! An amazing country.
I loved the Wickstead arrival coat dress. I liked it when Kate wore it to the Thistle ceremony but I like it even better here - it a case of a repeat being used extremely well -livened up and presented in a new way, instead of being obviously recycled - the soft gold just was perfect against the Bhutan scenery and colours.
I love seeing two such handsome royal couples - with beautiful women - together. I've often wished William and Kate would join their European counterparts more (and that the British monarchy and/or foreign office - whomever is behind it - also allowed more involvement between royals - too many events abroad have been snubbed by the British or under-represented.) I loved seeing William and Kate early in their marriage with Frederic and Mary - wish for more of that - they could pick up so many ideas from talking to young royals - there just isn't anyone at that age within their family.
    Jetsun is amazingly lovely.
I absolutely loved the lavender outfit on Kate, so appropriate and such a great shade on her - every time she wears it - Los Angles comes to mind - she just glows. I loved all the engagements, the children, the archery, the expressions, what a wonderful day!!
The evening outfit I hated at first sight - orange is not Kate's shade - but I do see the point of it and I've warmed to it as I've gotten used to it. I felt the same about the Anne Siu - it grew on me - and I prefer those colours on Kate. But I still wonder why the choice of American designers when there are so many other wonderful options.
This brings me to a quibble - you all know me - Mrs Quibble (how Leo would agree!) We saw photos here of so many varied and wonderful designs by Indian or Anglo-Indian designers - many most striking. Yet, what Kate has worn has been very stereotyped as to what most of us think of as Indian-Hippie era design. That look is very fashionable now, and many of us remember it well (with varying nostalgia) but how nice it would have been for Indian design to show the breadth of what they can offer. Kate did show with Packham and Temperley how magnificent Indian embroidery is and how Indian themes in that wonderful cropped top outfit can be used - but I suppose I'm a trifle greedy - I would have loved a little more variety = and the exclusion of the Siu and particularly this last outfit which don't have much to say except Kate obviously loves Boho - and wears it very well.

  34. you know what it is about this outfit? ...sometimes, it seems her clothes are wearing her. or maybe that she's dressing in a way to be appropriate but its not necessarily "her"- her white top from this morning, for example, was BEAUTIFUL. but. i don't know. something seemed off in how she was carrying herself. (except in those archery shots. :-)
but in this outfit. you can tell she feels awesome. there's just that glint in her eye. Slay, kate, SLAY!

  35. I absolute adore this dress - it's unconventional and a departure for her, but it's stunning. I'm so glad she is taking the opportunity this tour to embrace new colours, patterns and designs. I hope she doesn't go back to wearing frumpy coatdresses when she's back on home turf.

They both look lovely...William so handsome and Kate so pretty. Another beautiful ensemble from Kate. I hope they enjoy their evening and build on the friendship started earlier in the day with King Jigme and Queen Jetsun. I do believe this is the first of more trips to the beautiful country of Bhutan.

I love that the King and Queen gave gifts to the reporters. What a kind and thoughtful gesture. I'm looking forward to the hike to Paro Taktsang tomorrow. Charlotte, I hope you have gotten some rest in between your amazing and informative posts! Sleep well dear friend!

  39. Gorgeous. Only close-ups do justice to the beautiful embroidery. When I first saw the dress I scrunched up my nose and thought for a second "are those buttons?" Happily, that was only fleeting panic. Great flattering cut. Loved yesterday's clothing as well. I love how HRH really knows how to pick clothes that best suit her athletic, slim figure. Charlotte–I'm sorry if my comment yesterday came across as too negative to be published but it was something that I gave great thought to and decided whether or not to post for a while. I did not do so "on a whim" and with an intent to be catty. I think I've established myself here as a positive, eager, enthusiastic reader who occasionally has dissenting views. Either way, I "get" your decision. Thanks for all. Silvia.

    2. Hi Charlotte,

Thanks for taking the time to respond, especially given the craziness of your schedule! As for the comment, never mind. Maybe it is better that it didn't show up for moderation, after all. Cheers and thanks for these amazing posts. I've been keeping late nights on the west coast of the US so it's been lovely to be among the first in the US to enjoy your freshly posted reports!! Silvia

  41. I think this is one of the better dresses of the tour. I am more than a bit surprised at how 'ethnic' she is going in her dress for this tour. I cannot imagine she will have a lot of options to wear these dresses again other than in private life for the most part. Poor Wills - will we ever get him away from his trust navy blues?

  42. Whoa...William is showing a little chest hair and I think the fit of his pants is off. They seem too tight through the hip area. I may be in the minority, but I am not liking many of Kate's outfits. I normally love most everything. I know she is trying to plug into the vibe of her surroundings, but it's not doing it for me. I'll bet we never see a repeat of most of these outfits. All just my personal take. Thanks for these great posts.

  43. Your blog has been superb though this tour and your speedy IDs make you a legend in the Kate watching world! Thanks so much.

I think this maxi Tory Burch is just amazing. The acid orange and green create a wonderful jarring edge which I find electric, this has real edge to it, almost a hint of punk, or some of the weirdnesses of the 1970s. Someone has been tempting Kate into some outstanding choices for this trip.

Not everyone can wear such a bright orange and I think it bold of Kate to have picked out that colour, like that of the marigolds in the many garlands they have been given. The acid tones are well contained in the dark background, the beading is sensational. The shoes divine!!

I adore this dress! I love all the different colours and patterns we have seen this tour. I know they werw chosem because of the vibrancy of India and Bhutan, but I hope we see some more colour and pattern once Kate returns to England. It doesn't need to be as obvious as it has been the last few days, but it does add fun to her classic looks

  45. I love the fact Kate is trying things we have never seen before but I must admit I hate this dress. I just think it is awful. I don't like the colour combination or style. The shoes don't seem to match the dress in style. Overall, I have been disappointed in the tour, I just don't think most of her outfits hit the mark in one way or another. I do love that she is trying something new though.

  46. I noticed at the official meeting that the queen of Bhutan's toes were definitely painted, a lovely shade of crimson.
The thing that would have made this ensemble great is a great, dark reddish/burgundy pedicure on Kate's toes. She's got feet that aren't particularly pretty but that changes if they have a good, bold pedicure. Then they look fantastic. Remember that amazing dark red pedicure she wore with the white Mouret gown? Absolutely MADE that outfit, IMHO!
I don't dislike this Burch gown but I'm not in love with it. It seems a touch casual and resort-y for this particular event.
Again, the constant theme dressing has gone from a nice gesture to starting to be a little costume-y.
In this instance, I think Kate should have represented the UK and worn something she would have worn to a similar event at home in the UK, one of her stunning black lace evening gowns would have been perfect here.

  48. The orange Pashmina and the gold earrings complement Bhutan's flag. The floral motif resembles poppy flowers, the country's flower. How a 22 pounds shawl brought out the beauty of a $1,500 dress is the best part. From a distance, without knowing the label and with out the elegant complementary sandal heels, it can pass for any ordinary cut. It is how the whole thing is coordinated at a place and time that makes it look more special.

    Charlotte,
Your posts of a closer looks patterns makes a big difference. The close up photo the floral motif does it a better justice.

    1. "How a 22 pounds shawl brought out the beauty of a $1,500 dress...". There seems to have been some error on my part, or some other reason The Pshmina Kate wore, " The hand-woven silk and cashmere stole was hand-made in Nepal..", is about $400.00. Obviously its material and hand made puts it in that prize range.

Still a nice replicate can also accent a similar dress.

  51. Wow again, Some fantastic and inspired looks again from Catherine - the colour on this really suits her - and the orange is a great colour for her. I happen to watch the live feed of the walk/procession this morning and was bold over by the sense of scale of the palaces and monestries and thankfully she changed from the Emilia Wickstead coat and the wind was howling! I hope some of this new found experimenting with fashion and other designers will continue.
Small note about William too - great to see, I think, that he's finally embracing some other fashions too with the chinos etc with tonight being an open shirt, what looks like a more open weave blazer with chinos and suede boots. (And at last the snake belt has gone! of his twenties) People have mentioned his liking for blue suits and are getting jaded by them - I think there's a couple of things here - one it's a little more exciting than a conventional grey or black corporate suit, and probably photographs better and makes him stand out a little. The other, maybe, and I'm remembering why Charles wore a blue suit at Diana's funeral (and got slated for it) until he said that Diana loved him in them. Maybe it's a minor thing but it's a nod to her too? With his colouring, think blue suits him best - and he's not got the range of colours Prince Charles has. I don't think we'll ever see him as Mr Paul Smith or a dandy like Edward VIII (heaven forbid) but it's a step in the right direction I think at least. Bravo both of them!

    1. I recall criticism directed at Charles for wearing a blue suit to Diana's funeral, but I didn't see it as disrespectful, for the reason you cited. If I recall correctly, Diana also liked double breasted suits and cuffs on pants.

And I too would like to see some of the experimentation continue...large earrings included! When Kate wears her hair down, she needs them (to be visible) and when she wears it up, it's a very flattering look on her.

  53. I first saw this on twitter. I couldn't wait until Charlotte posted it - great job Charlotte. I really like this dress. The knit must be so comfortable and it's perfect for Kate's body type. This is very California.

Everything together - the dress, dressy heels, shawl and earrings - IMHO are well styled. Don't you wonder what they'll talk about during dinner? I hope that Will and Kate get to meet their son.

In the home stretch now. Hiking clothes, something for evening tomorrow and then the picturesque Taj Mahal event. I'm really curious as to what everyone would like to see Kate wear. Any ideas?

  54. I am exhausted just looking at the photos from today. Thanks for the great coverage Charlotte. It was nice that Kate changed clothes for her arrival in Bhutan, but she's lucky it was not windy on the tarmac because that coatdress would have been flying like a kite. Up until this afternoon, I thought Kate was doing a great job incorporating a local vibe into her outfits without being too costumey, but her ensemble at the processional missed the mark for me. It just looked like she was playing Dress Up with that skirt and cape combo. She could've used that beautiful lavender fabric for a lovely dress instead. William wasn't wearing the local fashion and he looked dignified and appropriate. (Lavender is a great colot for her BTW, and those earrings were fantastic.) Tonight's gown was amazing. I'm going to have a hard time choosing Best Of in the evening wear contest after this tour. Shame about the rhino poaching. Seems like a slap in the face to W&K's efforts.

  56. I have a couple of thoughts...
First it occurred to me that we haven't seen Kate in any of the Royal jewels with Indian connections, as I'm sure Charlotte discussed previously before the tour. I think it was a deliberate and wise choice-many of the pieces could have been worn at the Taj palace gala or for lunch with the Prime Minister. As pretty as they are, many of them do have less than appealing backgrounds from the colonial age. They are modern royals and I personally think it was the right thing to do.

Also is it just me, or does Kate seem a tad more relaxed on this tour than previous ones? It could be her getting experienced or the nature of some events (cricket and safari) but I think the warmth and hospitality of the Indian and Bhutanese people could have much to do with it. She looks very smiley for nearly every event despite long flying hours.

I also love how she has incorporated elements of their culture to her dress without overdoing it/completely copying their national dress and designs. It is a respectful nod without being OTT. It seems to divide fashion followers but I think it wise to use Wickstead and Tory Burch and John Lewis and other favourites with extra elements celebrating the cultural values.
Interesting to hear your thoughts :)

    1. I think this has been her best tour as well. She has seemed confident, happy and relaxed almost 100 percent of the time. I don't know if it's the location or just the fact that she's done several tours now. Probably a combination bit it is nice to see.

  59. Well our dear Kate sure has kept the colors and long dresses coming! It's interesting to see her in her tour boho looks in contrast to her usual conservative dress. Just had to explain what we mean by bohemian to my 14 yr old son and I happened to have a "Free People" catalog in the house. Lots of very earthy looking clothing on all of the models and some 60's inspired pieces as well. Very "peace and love" looking stuff. And for some reason I thought Harry's ex girlfriend, Cressida sometimes dressed sort of bohemian but maybe just a little edgy looking. But my son thought both girls were pretty "babes"! And I definitely agree!

Btw, what's Cressida doing these days? Acting, dancing?

Ok, sorry, back to Kate.... She has looked beautiful every day and hopefully has had a great time. They must be exhausted by now and worn out from dressing up every day! And my feet hurt just thinking of all those days in heels! But she sure makes it look easy!

Haven't had a chance to read many of the comments yet but have they had much down time? I bet they really miss their babies by now too!

Well have a great night all (or day)!

  62. Well She looked Beautiful yet again today & tonight!:) I have throughly enjoyed the Bouquet of Beautiful Prints & Colors that Catherine has chosen for This Tour!:) I also have a hunch that we may see her wearing a few of these dresses back in the UK even casually shopping or entertaining at home (which we won't see) but She just looks like she's having So Much Fun with all The Tour & The Outfits, that I think they will all have a soft spot in her heart upon her return:) Especially since many of them were purchased in UK & are very of the moment. I too would love for W&K to strike up a friendship with The King & Queen, as well as being able to cultivate relationships with the other Royal Couples in the surrounding Countries at Home. It could only help them to have peers that can understand the lives they live & they are all extended relations to boot:) I just don't want The Tour to end:( but I bet they will be so thrilled to see George & Charlotte when they get home:)
