Our first topic on the agenda is one I've received a number of queries about: which garden party will the Duchess of Cambridge attend this year? I asked the always informative Gert's Royals about possible dates and she kindly informed me there are two parties at Buckingham Palace over the next week. One on Thursday 19th and the other on Tuesday 24th. I very much expect we will see Kate present at one of these, but as to which it will be, that's something of a toss up. The Cambridges had engagements in London this week and are attending the Chelsea Flower Show on Monday, so both are on the cards, as they will likely be staying at Kensington Palace on both days.
One always knows the summer is beginning when the garden parties come round, and it's always interesting to see the royals in attendance, the guests, and of course the fashion. Kate last attended a garden party in 2014 when she opted to wear her beautiful lace sheath dress by McQueen with a Jane Corbett hat to match.
In 2012 and 2013, Kate selected designs by Emilia Wickstead.
I must admit, Ms Wickstead has never been one of my favourite 'Kate designers'; the structuring and tailoring of the designs, and use of heavy fabrics don't appeal to me, thoughts which has been reflected by many readers. Interestingly whilst we're on the topic of garden parties, Ms Wickstead has launched a capsule collection with Matches Fashion which are just ideal for such a function. Below, the Olive Hydrangea Print Dress, the very pretty Carrie Floral Print Dress, and the June Floral Cut-Out dress (a possibility if modified without cut-out detail). The designer's collection has built on the SS16 1950s theme.

Prince William visited the Royal Marsden hospital this morning to officially open the Ralph Lauren Centre for Breast Cancer Research. William heard about advance research to combine hormone and drug treatments to shrink tumours, and was told it is reassuring for patients to know that research happens two floors from where they are being treated. The Prince said: "Seeing the courage and spirit of patients I met today it is hard not to feel positive about the work being done here."
The Royal Marsden holds a special significance for William. The late Princess Diana was president from 1989 until her death; Prince William took on the role in 2007. A portrait of Diana takes pride of place at the hospital.
Whilst chatting with patients, talk quickly turned to George and Charlotte. Kathryn England, a patient at the hospital, revealed: "He said his household is very noisy at the moment. He said he was looking at schools, I suppose for George he would be." George, who turns 3 on 22 July will begin school in September 2017 shortly after he turns 4. More from Richard Palmer:

The choice of schools for George and Charlotte has been a much discussed subject of royal commentators. It has been widely thought Prince George will follow in his fathers footsteps and attend the pre-prep school Wetherby, located half a mile from Kensington Palace. Earlier this year the Mail Online reported George's name had been put down. With William suggesting he may not renew his contract with EAAA next spring, Wetherby seems a strong contender. It also raises the question, could a move to London be on the cards?
The other possibility in contention is a local school in Norfolk close to the family's country home, Anmer Hall. George has been attending nursery at the nearby Westactre Montessori, and it has been suggested William and Kate could favour a school in the area. A friend told me there has been word locally of George attending Gresham's in Holt, or Beeston Hall in Cromer.
At the moment, one imagines William and Kate are weighing up options as their decision will not only determine where George goes to school but where the family will be based for the next several years. I think it very much depends on what Prince William's plans are if he does indeed leave the EAAA next year. Is a larger royal role in the planning for the Cambridges? I can't see William leaving the air ambulance so soon if that is not the case. Alternatively, choosing a Norfolk school would see them continue to spend much of their time at Anmer, and perhaps staggering royal engagements and trips to London. It will be very interesting to see the Cambridges' final choice.

Kate's much-loved Great Plains 'Cezanne' Dress has been re-released in a striking new print. The Duchess first wore the dress in 'winter pink' in 2013 and was last seen wearing it in 'pine needle' over Christmas. Now, the brand has released the dress in an Ebony/Navy combo. The £75 dress is described: "Precision pleating features from the waist to the hemline of our best-selling Cezanne Pleated Dress for a feminine style that is as alluring in design as it is in print. Cinch in the waistband a little further when transitioning this chic dress into the evening." It's a very versatile and wearable piece - a great wardrobe staple.

Now, time for an exciting mid-week activity I think you'll enjoy! We've had several fun giveaways this year, but I think this one is going to be especially exciting. Australia-based custom fine jewellery company StyleRocks are offering one lucky reader $500 AUD to spend as they wish on their beautiful pieces.
StyleRocks |
StyleRocks was founded in 2011 by the enormously talented Pascale Helyar-Moray, who was eight months pregnant when her husband offered to buy her a present to celebrate their twins' arrival. Following an online search, Pascale found herself frustrated at the lack of customisable options available. So, after the twins were born she decided it was time to harness her passion for jewellery, and thus StyleRocks was born.
StyleRocks |
It's been an incredible five years for the brand which has gained a global customer base and recognition from publications such as Vogue: "Prepare for your jewellery collection to suddenly expand." The brand has won a series of prestigious awards, such as a Microsoft BizSpark Plus Scholarship, and was selected among a handful of startups for the DEMO Asia 2012 event. Below we see actress Cate Blanchett with Pascale wearing the Russian Rings 'Charlotte' necklace.
StyleRocks |
The key to StyleRocks' success has been allowing its customers to create their own bespoke items and thus express their individuality through their jewellery selections. Have you ever seen a stunning pair of earrings or a necklace and thought: "I would love that in another stone or metal." With StyleRocks you can design the piece exactly to your taste. Let's take a look at possible designs for the 'very Kate' Cushion Checkerboard Gemstone Stud Earrings. A look at the classic style in different stones.
StyleRocks |
The earrings come in a selection of different styles.
StyleRocks |
A look at the rainbow of available colours and options for custimisation.
StyleRocks |
The Cushion Checkerboard Studs with Pearl Drops offer a fresh and colourful twist on the classic.
StyleRocks |
The 'Just In' section of the website offers a modern twist on pearls, with pearl bangles and rings available in numerous options.
StyleRocks |
If you're a fan of a specific gemstone and wish to assemble a collection of pieces, it's very easy to do that with StyleRocks. Take pink amethyst for example; look at the Emerald Cut Sterling Silver Earrings, the Emerald Cut Cocktail Ring, the Cushion Diamond Halo Ring, and the 9ct Rose Gold Necklace.
StyleRocks |
The brand's best-selling Russian Rings Necklaces (as seen on Cate Blanchett earlier in the post) have proved enormously popular. The necklaces made of three intertwined rings are the Charlotte, Alexandra and Zara at 40mm, 30mm and 20mm respectively. The image below offers a good look at the sizes on offer.
The necklaces in rose gold, gold and silver.
StyleRocks |
The Diamond Russian Necklace - the Elizabeth in 9ct gold is a striking piece. The necklaces can be worn in several ways as seen below.
StyleRocks |
The necklaces very much remind me of Kate's Cartier 'Trinity' necklace. The Duchess last wore the $49,000 piece in New York in 2014.
Russian wedding rings are a classic symbol of love. As with all their pieces, the rings are customisable through choosing the metal, engraving and font. Below, we look at the Willow, featuring three gold bands and the Double Russian Wedding Ring Gemelle.
StyleRocks |
A look at several of StyleRocks' engagement rings. Each engagement ring is made bespoke to your specifications.
StyleRocks |
There are so many beautiful pieces... One collection which fans of the Duchess may particularly enjoy are the limited edition necklaces designed to commemorate the Royal Tour of India and Bhutan. The pieces were designed in collaboration with the lovely Susan from What Kate Wore.
StyleRocks |
We discussed flowers and symbolism before the tour. The Lotus Flower is India's national flower and has long been associated with beauty. Below, the Lotus Flower Necklace in Yellow Gold with Diamond and in White Gold with Sapphire.
StyleRocks |
The poppy is Bhutan's national flower and demonstrates delicacy through its simple petals. We see it in Yellow Gold with Amethyst and White Gold with Ruby.
StyleRocks |
Pascale shared this additional information on the brand:
- Paypal instalments - pay for your jewels, interest-free, for up to four months. Great for the more expensive purchases.
- Valuation certificate for any item valued at AUD500 or more. Not only is this for insurance purposes, it helps people understand that blue topaz is actually blue topaz, and so on. The certificates are provided by an independent valuer from the National Council of Approved Valuers.
- Free shipping using DHL Express (international orders) or Australia Post Platinum (local).
- An interesting titbit: with the decline of the Australian dollar against the US dollar, this has made our jewellery more affordable for the UK and US/Canadian customers. This goes some way to explaining why nearly 60% of our sales are for these destinations.
- 3D printed rings. Like the look of the ring online but not sure how it would look on your hand? Think you're a size 7 (or size M) but not absolutely sure? You can purchase a 3D ring for $29.95 and it arrives 12 business days later. Then when you come to purchase the 'real' (metal/gemstone) ring, that $29.95 is credited against your purchase.
A look at a 3D printed ring.

I would love to see Kate wear the beautiful dress from the 2012 tour, pale blue and she had an updo with little pearls. I think she wore it for a tea party over there so perfect for a garden party - one of my favourite dresses - Linda
ReplyDeleteI’m building up my jewellery collection. The ‘Yellow Gold and Diamond Narrow Hoops’ is the foundation of every jewellery box must have. They are the more bang for your buck jewelleries. These Hoops made it easy to complement evening outfits and every day looks by pairing with desirable detachable drops. I imagine myself wearing these elegant Hoops alone for shopping trips and meetings. When sky’s the limit, it opens the door to no end.

I really like when you tell us about Williams engagements as well :) Alot of his engagements go unreported (although I know of all of them since I follow so closely). I wonder if you could start doing a summary post of his engagements once a month or something? Might be too much work but I think it would be appriciated by some who doesn't have the time to look his stuff up :P
I think they have ALOT to think about when choosing school. As you said, it will probably be alot of other variables involved!
I love the all the georgous options but the drop earrings are my favorite

Hi! I have registered for the newsletter and liked StyleRocks on Facebook and Twitter.
ReplyDeleteI know exactly what I would do with the gift from StyleRocks! My mother passed away after a very horrible time with anesthesia-induced dementia (she was only 62 years old and completely taking care of herself - had surgery and woke up with no short term memory and unable to recognize her surroundings). She had a very special bond with her grandchildren and I would use the gift to go toward replicating a piece of her jewelry for her grandchildren.
Than you for this opportunity!! I love your blog and look forward to reading it every chance I can.
That's horrible Dawn. I didn't know that could happen. Beautiful idea for a remembrance.

ReplyDeleteWhat a lovely post as usual! Exciting giveaway as well. I would love to get something that would represent my two children. So something with gemstones in it. Possibly a necklace! I like the leaf designs! I also love the Russian Wedding Rings too!

Now that is a lace dress that I loved. I love the purse she carried with it. I loved the hat she wore with it at the church ceremony when she wore the dress the first time. I think Kate would look lovely in any of those Match dresses (without the cutout).
ReplyDeleteI like that dress as well, but I liked it more with the belt.
DeleteI'm not very fond of the Wickstead dresses. I like floral dresses in that kind of silouette. But somehow these doesn't do it for me!
I also liked the lace dress better with the belt. It is a lovely garment. And I agree with those who would like to see some of the dresses from the southeast Asian tour again, especially the pale blue ones. One of my very favorite pictures of Kate is the one from Christmas that Charlotte posted above. To me, Kate has never looked lovelier.
DeleteI would be interested in adding StyleRocks earrings to my jewelry box. The ability to customize is pretty cool! Thanks for sharing about the company. Claire in the US.
ReplyDeleteHello! I subscribed to the newsletter. I would love to add a ruby earring to my collection. It's my birthstone and I don't currently have any! I particularly liked the Cushion Checkerboard Gemstone Stud Earrings. There are so many beautiful pieces it's hard to choose!

I love a pearl ring. The pink pearl with silver metal is gorgeous. I'd love one to celebrate my 10 year wedding anniversary later this year. That would be very special for me.
ReplyDeleteI hope HRH continues to wear the fun prints she chose in India and Bhutan.
Beautiful jewelry! I particularly love the Russian wedding bands and necklaces.
ReplyDeleteI'm looking forward to the garden party photos and especially Kate's appearance. She has surprised me with her wardrobe choices lately, and I can't wait to see what she has planned next.
I'm kind of wishing for her to do a repeat! Something from the earlier years :)
DeleteOh my, what to choose! I think a pretty pair of stud earrings in pink amethyst. I live in a home with all males (husband, son, 2 dogs) and sometimes I need to feel girlie! I have subscribed to the newsletter and liked the site on Facebook. Love this blog (I check for updates daily). Thank you so much for the all your hard work, Charlotte.
ReplyDeleteHi everyone, I registered for the newsletter at StyleRocks and there were so many great pieces of jewelry, that it's hard to say which I like best, but I think I am leaning toward the checkerboard earring collection. They are just lovely and I like that there are so many options etc. The are very much like what Kate would wear.
ReplyDeleteHi! First of all I would like to say thanks for the wonderful giveaway. I subscribed to the Newsletter, liked StyleRocks on Facebook and followed the brand on Twitter. Now, I love bracelets, so I think I would buy a bracelet, possibly the Four Stone Cushion Sapphire Silver Bangle or the Four Stone Cushion Smoky Quartz bangle. Or perhaps I would buy a piece crafted in emerald, since it is my birthstone. I would like if StyleRocks opened a store here in Brazil, their pieces are beautiful.
ReplyDeleteI'd like to see Kate at Garden Party in that pink dress by Emilia Wickstead or the blue one from the same designer which she wore several times. I love them! Or maybe she will wear sth new in some bright colours?
ReplyDeleteI would love to expand my collection with classic jewelry that I get to personalize!
ReplyDeleteJoined newsletter, added on Twitter and shared, liked on facebook and shared.
Thank you so much Charlotte for this contest!
I signed up for the newsletter, liked the Facebook and followed the Twitter account. I would likely choose a new necklace or a gorgeous pair of earrings. Thanks!
ReplyDeleteWithout a doubt I would go for the pearl drop earrings. I have had my eye on them for some time. Who hasn't?:) Pearl jewelry is my favorite and I would love to have pearl drops instead of the studs I usually wear. I've already signed up for the newsletter and liked Stylerocks on twitter and Facebook. I will also share on twitter (@MeAndMyMumKate). Thanks for another lovely giveaway!
ReplyDeleteI would definitely order a Russian Rings necklace because they are so versatile and would look great with anything. For something more flashy I love the lotus or poppy necklaces with a colorful gemstone. I am subscribed to the newsletter and follow style rocks in Twitter. I also tweeted about the giveaway.
ReplyDeleteSo for schools. Do you knink if you are a Prince George or Princess Charlotte all the preschool and primary schools just make a spot for you if you say you want to attend? I know many of the elite preschool and primary schools in the UK, especially near or in London, and also in the US in large cities have waiting lists well in advance of a year. The age 12 and up seem to be if you test in and we have space you get in but with the added caveat that if they have lots of qualified applicants lots of other stuff gets considered, family connections etc. Will be really fun to see were they land. I really believe they will be in London within a year. I get the sense that the Queen is ready to slow down or at least pick and chose a bit more. ali
ReplyDeleteI'm sure they put the kids up on lists before they were even born. (just like many wealthy families do), but I doubt there would be much problem for them to get their kids a spot in schools :P
DeleteI also think it will be London. Seems like a perfect time.
Hee hee Rebecca, so true. They probably have the kids names down for several schools. One reason I was thinking the move will be within a year is there was a mention in the coverage of the Queens speech yesterday that it was the first time she had not walked up the steps but used a lift. There just seems to be a fairly big uptick in events that the younger generation are attending over the last several months.
DeleteThe Queen seems to have a nasty round sore on her lower right leg, maybe the result of something being removed or an injury. That might have been the reason for the lift. She seemed to use her umbrella as a cane at the garden party. I have never understood why the back steps at the Palace do not have a railing!
DeleteWhat fun!
ReplyDeleteI would use my prize to purchase a rose gold Tree of Lufe pendant each for my daughter and I.
Please pick us!
Adrienne from Ireland
20:15
DeleteThis morning when I first saw The Tree of Life in Rose on Style Rocks web site, thought there is something feminine and matriarchal about. I can't believe the coincidence that you picked it for you and your daughter. It seems the best variation of the three depending on peoples test. I think each is over $500.00.
Good Luck Adrienne
I would expect that some pressure has been or is being put on William to take on more royal duties for himself and Kate too, so it wouldn't surprise me if they stick with Wetherby and move back to London, perhaps using Anmer as their weekend getaway.
ReplyDeleteWetherby is a day school and I can't see Kate in any great hurry to send George away to boarding school at such a very young age. If he doesn't start school until a year from this fall, that gives them plenty of time yet at Anmer, Charlotte will be older and the move to London should be easier.
As for the garden party, I'd really like to see her start recycling some of the lovely dresses from either the Asian tour or the Australian/New Zealand tour.
I feel about the same. Not sure if it's pressure or just natural timing of things, but I think they are transitioning more and more towards london so it would be a natural step. Yeah, I highly doubt they would send the kids to boarding school earlier than William and Harry was!
DeleteI really liked seeing the recent Aus/NZ repeats but I agree that the Asian tour had some GREAT dresses that would work very well for garden parties!
I love the Cushion Checkerboard Gemstone Stud earrings. I have signed up for the newsletter, liked Stylerocks on Facebook and follwed on Twitter. Thank you for such a fun giveaway

I would LOVE to have a pair of the pearl drop earrings, or the Russian Rings Necklace would make excellent additions to my jewelry collection! ReplyDeleteWow! When I saw the Willow wedding band, it immediately reminded me of my original wedding band that I missplaced a few years ago. It would great to have a new band that was so similar to the original!

I always am so happy to see your post Charlotte, as it is so uplifting, well researched and written. I am a true fan of the Royal family, especially of Kate, Will and the children. Even though my family came to America from England in the 1600s, there is an inexplicable pull to the Mother Country.
Charlotte truly has a very high level of reporting, doesnt she?!
DeleteI would really love to get a pair of *nice* earrings to wear to special occasions instead of my cheaper ones I bought at malls when I was younger. Maybe something like the cushion checkerboard earrings in my birthstone, peridot!
ReplyDeleteI love browsing StyleRocks, I already follow on Facebook and receive the newsletter, I also now follow on Twitter.
ReplyDeleteFor me, I love the Russian Wedding Ring - Willow - 9ct Multi Gold. I really like the idea of a ring that matches anything, so I wouldn't use it as a wedding ring.
I like the colors and patterns that Kate has been wearing lately and I'm hoping she'll bring some of those new colors and patterns to whichever party she attends.
I would absolutely buy a Russian Rings Necklace if I were to win!
ReplyDeleteI would really love to get a diamond halo ring using my son's birthstone (June!). He's my one and only, and so would that ring :).
ReplyDeleteLove these... would buy the pearls for my daughter to wear when she gets married this summer

ReplyDeleteI signed up for the newsletter, liked Style Rocks on both Twitter and Facebook and shared the giveaway on my Twitter.
If I won I would probably get a pair of the emerald cut hook earrings. Right now I am leaning towards the white topaz being my favorite stone. Not sure though. I am definitely a dangly earring person but the studs are also beautiful.
If she ends up attending a garden party I would love to see her in the ice blue Temperley complete with pearl pins in her hair. I thought she looked effortlessly elegant that day. I also loved the duck egg blue Packham she wore during the Southeast Asia tour. It has a pleated skirt and the top had lace on it. I absolutely love that dress. I would also love to see the dress she wore to the polo match in Santa Barbara again. I would be just as happy with something new. She always looks beautiful no matter what she wears.
ReplyDeleteI'd buy something for myself and my momma! My mom never treats herself but loves jewelry.
ReplyDeleteThe Russian Necklace if the perfect gift for my Mom. She has seen pictures and LOVES the necklace. The names of her four grandchildren would be engraved!
ReplyDeleteSuch beautiful pieces, I love browsing the StyleRocks website! Have subscribed to the Newsletter, liked on Facebook and followed on Twitter. I would love to have a nice cushion checkerboard stud earring in my birthstone amethyst, and a beautiful double white pearl steel bangle.
ReplyDeleteI would love to get a quality pair of earrings in an emerald cut to go with my engagement ring. I wear a lot of green so maybe Emerald, my son's birthstone
ReplyDeleteSo after spending more time looking at the jewelry options I think I may have changed what I would get; I have three children and the Russian Rings Necklace - the Catherine version in sterling silver. I would have their names engraved on the rings. I could wear that everywhere. I had a different necklace that had their birthstones in it and their birth dates were engraved on them and I lost it at the hospital last year when I was admitted for an emergency blood transfusion. I was so upset. Anyway, I think the three rings would be lovely.
ReplyDeleteHello! It is so lovely to here Kate could be going to a garden party soon, I am very much looking forward to that! As for everything else, William and Kate have a lot to consider when choosing schools and deciding on William's civilian job, just like any little family but with slightly more consequence. It will be interesting to see what they choose!
ReplyDeleteAs for the giveaway, so exciting! Style Rocks seems wonderful and I am very excited to have them on my radar now! I love amethyst and adore the 9ct rose gold pendant necklace! I have signed up for the newsletter and liked on Facebook as well as shared the giveaway! Cheers to the winner of this wonderful giveaway!

ReplyDeletemy comment hasnt appeared yet but i wanted to add that i liked StyleRocks on Facebook and shared the giveaway. i almost got a twitter account so i could do that too but still can't cross that line ;) in case my other comment doesnt show up, i'd get a really nice pair of green earrings, like Emerald or Peridot in sterling silver, in an emerald cut to go with my engagement ring.
ReplyDeleteI have subscribed to the newsletter and have already received one. What beautiful jewelry! I love to match my jewelry to the colors in the outfits that I wear - whites, blues, purples, yellows, greens. My jewelry wardrobe is missing pink so I would like to have a pair of deep pink amethyst earrings to wear with the many pink tops and jackets in my closet.
ReplyDeleteI love all the Green Amethyst pieces, especially the cushion-cut ring!

I've been reading your blog for a while but this is my first comment. This is one of my favourite blogs:), and I like the story of how the designer started her business, as I'm in a position to start my own business now. I would love to get the Russian Rings Necklace for my lovely mother in law, who's going to be 70 this year. Plus, my brother in law and his girlfriend are planning their wedding in Australia this year, so it would great to give this to my mother in law, so she can wear it to the wedding!
ReplyDeleteWow love the jewellery, the do look "very kate" :-) I would probably get earrings with pearls or some from the emerald cut collection. But then, I would probably change my mind a lot, as there are so many fantastic options!
ReplyDeleteI also
1. shared the giveaway on facebook and

Hello everyone,
ReplyDeleteKate is not at today's garden party, so I think it's fairly safe to presume we'll see her at Tuesday's. :)
It's been such fun reading all your entries for the giveaway. You all have lovely taste! Don't forget to sign up for the newsletter as part of your entry as it's an necessary component.
http://www.stylerocks.com
Good luck to all entrants! :)
This is a very interesting and a generous give away. As more and more people post their reasons and plan on the choices they will make, my excitement is turning into guessing who will win. When I thought this person will win it, other posts show up which make me think twice. I can imagine the Style Rocks panel/s who will determine the recipient winner; their reason/s may be different. The necklaces were trending on their web site today. The suspense along with the products is fun.
DeleteI would love to win this. I'd get a beautiful piece of jewelry.
ReplyDeleteThis is such a fun contest giveaway!!! I liked Style Rocks on Facebook and followed Stylerocks on twitter. If I won the $500, I would buy gifts for all my friends and buy an aquamarine earring and ring set for myself :)

I love this giveaway! I just visited (and subscribed to the newsletter) the website and I was blown away by the beautiful pieces of jewelry I saw in there. I have a love for pink topaz and amethyst jewels so I'd imagine an earring of some kind or even a necklace... I can't really decide on any one thing, it's like a woman's paradise in there... I also liked the page on Facebook!

Charlotte are we even sure she is attending a garden party or is it an assumption? Do they normally announce her attendance? I see it is reported today that she sent a message for a palliative care conference been held in Buenos Aires.
ReplyDeleteI subscribed to the newsletter. I would love the 3 rings necklace!
ReplyDeleteLong time reader but first time posting. I subscribed to the StyleRocks newsletter and liked them on Facebook. My mother died unexpectedly three years ago. She gave me a beautiful emerald cut blue topaz ring when I graduated from college. If I won, I'd purchase some earrings to match that ring so I would have a beautiful set that would remind me of my Mom every time I wore it.

Dear author's blog,
ReplyDeleteI am happy woman - wife and mother of 2 children. I have never bought jewellery for myself, because there has always been more important things to buy. During studies I used to purchase books and other materials for studying. When I was raising up my own family, there has been many expenses related to create own home and then the sweetest expenses for our children. I am always looking forward reading about Duchess Kate, as she is in the same age as me.
If I won the prize, I would wear this piece of jewellery to work. When I looked on StyleRocks' website, I fell in love with Sapphire Cushion Checkerboard Studs with Drop Pearl - White Gold. I have in my wardrobe blue jacket, which I believe would suit those earrings.
Best regards,
Monika (my nickname: Letycjanka)
I would but the drop earrings and start a collection of the detachable drops.

ReplyDeleteI would love the Cushion Checkerboard Gemstone Stud Earrings earrings in the dark green, emerald choice. I am going to my university graduation ball in a forest green gown and would love such a stunning pair of earrings to pair it with. A beautiful choice that I could wear for many special days in the future.
ReplyDeleteI also followed on Twitter and liked on Facebook.
Lovely, creative collection and concept. All the best.
P.s. I think that Kate will recycle for a garden party, possibly a Wickstead or McQueen piece. I would personally like to see her in the pink lace McQueen dress, because it is so timeless and summery, but I also think it might be quite hot in the weather. If I were to choose, I think it would be fun for her to go with a cheaper, high-street piece from Reiss or Topshop, something patterned with a knee or midi-length flowing skirt, but I think she is getting more and more into designers now for these events.
I've always wanted something emerald or ruby coloured, so that's what I'd pick. Liked on Facebook and followed on Twitter.
ReplyDeleteI have signed up for the newsletter. I would choose the russian wedding ring necklace in silver.

ReplyDeleteI have subscribed to the newsletter! I really like a lot of their jewellery and if I won I'd be torn between a ring (I was very upset when I lost my one and only precious ring earlier this year) or a pair of earrings (which are less likely to get lost!).
