The baby of the Cambridge family celebrates his fourth birthday today.
The Duchess of Cambridge took four photos of her youngest child on Norfolk beach earlier this month.
Louis is a delightful and happy little boy who continues to resemble his mother quite a bit.
Louis followed in big sister Charlotte's footsteps by attending Willcocks Nursery School in Kensington last year. The prince continues there and is expected to join George and Charlotte at Thomas's Battersea, though it should be noted this is contingent on plans for a Cambridge family move to Windsor this year, suggesting a Berkshire school is the more likely option. Whether a potential home would serve as a main base or replace Anmer Hall as their 'weekend and holidays' country home is not yet known.
Louis was born on a sunny St George's Day morning at St Mary's Hospital four years ago.
Several weeks later, we saw him in big sister Charlotte's arms.
To mark his first birthday, we saw several photos of the delightful Prince taken by his mum at Kensington Palace.

ReplyDeleteLouis is a beautiful little boy who I believe greatly favors Kate's family. Looking into his eyes there appears to be a lot of spirit behind his smiles! Kate's photos of Louis are so completely natural vs professional posed shots it gives us a real feeling of his personality.

ReplyDeleteOn a fashion note, my least favorite dress worn by Kate to present the new royal baby, was the red with the lace collar worn for Prince Louis first press event. I really like the blue and the yellow for the first two children, but I think the collar on the red was not my taste.

ReplyDeleteHe is a very attractive little guy. I think we forget some of the ways Kate helped tp change the RF. First, by insisting that her family be as important in her marriage as William's, and probably more important. And providing regular family photos, there is no "market" for photos taking by chasing down the kids. This philosophy would have helped Diana so much. (I personally think they should not be seen until they are 18, but that is just vastly impractical.) We see photos of the kids several times a year and that's sufficient.

ReplyDeleteRandom question, but do you happen to know what brand of balance bike Louis was riding in his 3rd birthday picture? I tried zooming in but couldn't quite make out the name on the bike. I researched balance bikes a fair amount for my toddlers last year and am curious which one they chose. Thanks!
