First Look: The Princess in Safiyaa Gown for Royal Variety Performance

The Prince and Princess of Wales have just arrived at the Royal Albert Hall for the annual Royal Variety Performance. It appears Kate's wearing the striking Safiyaa Talina gown (with thanks to Women of Windsor). Kate's earrings are a J Crew pair she's had for years.

I'll have a full post wrapping up the day shortly :)

Trop de cheveux libres mais la robe et les bijoux ont l'air superbes !

  2. Charlotte any information or better pictures of her bracelet would be much appreciated. I'm wondering is it the Princess of Wales emerald bracelet. S.🙂.

    1. Court jeweler thinks crystal bracelet to match the earrings. Not much more information on it at the moment. S.🙂.

    2. Stupid me. I thought Catherine was wearing real gems to this event. I think I should comment after the experts have done their sleuthing.

Many years ago, this was a tiara event. John Lennon famously told the audience to clap their hands and the rest (royalty) to rattle their jewelry.

    3. Not at all. I couldn't call it because some modern jewellery has odd random set diamonds. Even The Court Jeweler wasn't sure and looking for more information. The Queen Mother had some huge bracelets that haven't been seen in years. S.🙂.

  5. Catherine looks more glamorous than she has in the past for this event (at least as far as I recall) and it's wonderful to see!
