Matches her white jacket for the trailer earlier in the day - though that was Self Portrait and sparkly.

Charlotte, there was adds on uk TV last night. The Princess was highlighting the carol service. I think for when it is broadcast. She was wearing white and looking fabulous. S.🙂.
ReplyDeleteThis seems like a lovely tradition. I realize it is aimed at a religious holiday, which does not align with everyone, but I think most people can enjoy beautiful music regardless of the origin. The White House decorates for Christmas even though the country was founded to be nonreligious. Many of the founding fathers scoffed at religion.
ReplyDeleteMy main interest is Adam Lambert. :) I first watched him, a Californian, on America Idol years ago and was in love with his amazing voice, dramatic presentations, and kind personality. I don't know how he ended up in the UK other than, of course, his spectacular collaboration with the remaining Queen band members. I'm really looking forward to hearing him.
I like that Kate has traded the gloomy maroon to white but how special would it have been to perhaps wear forest green shoes? Or a sparkly white and green blouse? Maybe emerald earrings? (I request big emerald earrings, not dangling.) (I assume not all the family members had to wear white.) It almost seems like the pants and shirt are nautical, boat wear.
I'm very much looking forward to reading other people's opinions.

DeleteI really liked the winter white, it was unexpected but striking. Catherine stood out in a good way, appropriate since this was her event.

ReplyDeleteCatherine looks beautiful, as ever, but I wish she'd worn something more festive. The sequined jacket that she wore for the promo for the concert would've been great, with a midi-length red, green or tartan skirt. This event is one of my favorites and I have to say that I'm disappointed. I wasn't consulted, lol! I so hope Catherine doesn't wear pants to the Christmas day church service.
