First Look: The Princess of Wales Sparkles for Diplomatic Reception

There's a slew of sparkling arrivals happening at Buckingham Palace as the annual Diplomatic Reception gets underway. The Princess is wearing the Lover's Knot tiara and her Jenny Packham Georgia gown. It also looks like Kate's wearing the Queen's Greville Chandelier earrings.

  1. That was quick Charlotte, I wouldn't want to take you on in a shoot out. 🤣. All looks beautiful so far. I just need to know NOW, What is the Queen wearing on the front of her dress. Doesn't look like part of her dress... New to her diamond's.🙏. S.🙂.

    1. Tiara mania has a close up. It's a huge diamond tassel brooch. Queen Mary or Alexandra I'd think. It has a Russia look about it. Hopefully the palace will say where it comes from. S.🙂.

  2. Don’t the men look lovely! Catherine and Camilla look beautiful but the diamonds on the Queen’s dress look a little odd.

  3. I don't care for the way Catherine is wearing her hair for tiara events. She is beautiful, but it looks like her hair stylist quit.

  4. The ribbon on the ladies' Royal Family Order Ribbons have been cut short - ready to make space for a new King's Order soon? Otherwise Kate replicates her Amman look exactly. Very pretty though.
    Love the Queen's stomacher!

  5. No No Catherine - the same glittery pink gown is a beautiful re-wear. But please, a different pair of earrings and a different tiara and a different hairstyle are needed.
